We are Cornerstone
Cornerstone Christian Fellowship is passionate about: loving everyone that we interact with in a way that points toward the unconditional love of the One who first loved us.
During our transitional process, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship learned that the way our church functions closely resembles a family get-together which may sound good, even Godly, but it has not lent itself to effective ministry throughout all areas of our church.
While it remains our desire to continue to be a family of believers, we now understand that our processes and procedures must be less like a family get-together where those who show up will, we hope, pitch in, and more like a family run business with assigned tasks and defined responsibilities.
Cornerstone Christian Fellowship is a part of Grace Communion International. Learn more about our beliefs here.
Our Story
Our journey from a legalistic doctrine focused inward on those who fit our definition of
what it was to truly be a member of The Church, to reaching out in love as one of many Christ following denominations was not without difficulties. We encountered resistance and experienced loss as many friends wanted to continue in their legalistic traditions. We endured times of uncertainty as we moved forward in what many Christians would call normal, even traditional, but for us were practices that were new and foreign to our
experience. Together we followed the leading of the Holy Spirit and formed what is now known as Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. We were able to purchase our current building and serve those who embraced not only a new doctrine but a new way of doing church.
